We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that provides support for survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Making it possible for families who want to be free of violent relationships to succeed. We make hope real.

Safelight offers a broad range of services, provided by staff and over 100 dedicated volunteers. Safelight continues to rely on the generosity of the community for donations of money, time, and goods for our shelter, store, and other programs. Over time, the organization has evolved from a strictly crisis-driven agency to one striving to develop longer-term services addressing community needs such as low-income housing and the unavailability of medical, mental health and substance abuse resources.
